aLICE IN wONDERLAND. I LIKE THE STORY VERY MUCH.
Does your teacher mean sensational as ''great, powerful, wonderful'' or as ''lurid, overblown, cheap?'' I majored in English at college and do not remember a category of literature as sensational, so I am not sure what your teacher is looking for.
If she means the first definition of sensational, then you could make a good case for the two books being equally wonderful.
aLICE N WONDERLAND
def.
Alice is Adventures in Wonderland, definitely.
Alice in Wonderland was the name of the cartoon, not the book.
Tough call as both use alliteration, illusion and metaphors. Both are not true stories and both have so many characters, but I guess I'd choose Alice in Wonderland...as the mirror is an important part of what she sees.
